Our Role

Florida City Gas, a subsidiary of AGL Resources, serves approximately 101,000 residential and commercial natural gas customers in Florida’s Miami-Dade and Brevard counties. Our parent company, AGL Resources (NYSE:ATG), is positioned to become one of the nation's preeminent distributors of natural gas.

Our basic business is the delivery of natural gas, but our wide array of products and services, our technical expertise and our ability to provide energy and business solutions bring added value to our customers. Our History

1946	Florida City Gas began serving customers as City Gas in Dade County
1960s	Service expanded into Brevard County during the development of the space program.
1988	City Gas became a part of NUI Corp. and extended its natural gas distribution system into Saint Lucie, Indian River, Martin, and Palm Beach counties.
2004	We became a subsidiary of AGL Resources Inc. (NYSE:ATG), an Atlanta-based energy company, and changed our name to Florida City Gas.
Today	As part of the AGL Resources family, we constantly strive to provide efficient, economical and reliable service to our customers.
