Appliance	Rebate (up to)	Benefits
Storage Tank Water Heater	$350	The most common type of water heater holds heated water in a tank at a constant temperature, producing up to 2 times more hot water than an electric model in the same amount of time.
Tankless Water Heater	$450	Tankless water heater has a natural gas burner that ignites and heats water instantaneously when hot water tap is turned on. It needs half the space of a conventional water storage tank and is mounted to the wall.
Furnace	$350	Natural Gas Heat is warmer! Air from a natural gas furnace is up to 35 degrees warmer than air from an electric heat pump. So your family feels warmer.
Dryer	$100	Clothes are softer, fluffier and even dries faster with a natural gas drier due to better temperature control and moisture from natural gas flame.
Range / Cooktop	$100	Fast, precise temperature control, and lower operating costs are why 9 out of 10 professional chefs prefer cooking with natural gas.

To Obtain a Rebate

• Complete a rebate application form. One form is required for all appliances installed
• Copies of dated store receipts or invoices must be attached. The receipt must include the store name, the appliance and the purchase price.
• Copies of most current gas bill must be included
• Copies of a dated contractor receipt or invoice for the installation of the appliance must be attached. The receipt or invoice must show the address where the appliance was installed, the installation date and the total amount charged for the installation of the appliance, the contractor's name and telephone number. The charges for the appliance installation MUST be shown separately from any other work included on the same receipt or invoice.

Limitations
The amount of Rebate is limited to the sum of the purchase price of the appliance plus the cost of the installation (if any) up to the maximum rebate amount for the appliance. Florida City Gas must receive all requests for a rebate application within 60 days of the purchase or installation of the appliance. Florida City Gas must receive the completed rebate application form with complete supporting documentation within 120 days of the purchase or installation of the appliance. An on-site inspection by a City Gas Company representative may be required to verify the installation of an appliance prior to the payment of a rebate.
