Florida City Gas employees are inextricably woven into the communities we are privileged to serve. You may see our crews working in your neighborhood or find us at community events.
Opportunities for employees to volunteer for community outreach are available with the Miami chapter of Habitat for Humanity and Meals on Wheels, just to name a few. We also welcome opportunities to visit schools to educate students about careers in natural gas and natural gas safety. Additionally, the second week in May is Volunteer Week at Florida City Gas.
We sponsored bingo night for the city of Doral's Silver Club and provided residents with infomation about the benefits of natural gas and our energySMART rebates.
The second week in May is Volunteer Week at Florida City Gas. This year, we took the lead on a garden beautification project at Zoo Miami! In 2016, a group of employees helped with clean up at A.D. Barnes Park. Another employee, Michelle Foushi, worked with Junior Achievement by talking to students at Pt. Malabar Elementary.
ESC Job Fair
It was great to meet students at the Easter Florida State College Job Fair!
We spent the day at the NASA Space Center visitor center to share information about appliance rebates through our energySMART program.
Meals on Wheels
We're proud of our ongoing partnership with Meals on Wheels to support senior independence through meals, shelter, education and community.

Thank you to those who visited our booth during Wings Over the Bay. Even Cutler Bay Mayor Peggy Bell visited us!
On March 3, we hosted a movie night in Cutler Bay. Thanks to everyone in the community who came out!
